AI infrastructure investment has created sustained upward pressure on demand across DRAM, NAND Flash, and high-bandwidth memory, with franchised distribution lead times and pricing reflecting that shift in allocation. A Flash or DRAM device on our BOM has reached end-of-life and our franchised channel has no remaining stock. What does ASC need to identify a replacement?

The original manufacturer part number is the most useful starting point, because it encodes the parameters that determine whether a replacement will function equivalently: density, interface protocol (SPI, parallel, DDR, or LPDDR), supply voltage, access time, package, and temperature grade. For Flash, endurance in program and erase cycles and data retention specification are critical in embedded applications where the device is written frequently. For DRAM, timing parameters and refresh requirements determine compatibility with existing controller firmware and system stability.
